Since their launch in 1986, the American Eagle Silver Dollar has become the most popular and widely collected coin in U.S. history. The design of the coin is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful coins ever produced. The obverse (front) of the coin features Adolph A. Weinman's stunning Walking Liberty design originally used on U.S. Silver Half Dollars from 1916 through 1947. The reverse design is a rendition of a heraldic eagle by John Mercanti. Each coin contains 1 troy ounce of 0.999 pure silver and is 40.6 mm (about 1.6 inches) in diameter.

You are also bidding on a 2004 Silver Eagle in Gem, Choice, Brilliant Uncirculated Condition. It is a fine picture, but unfortunately the picture doesn't tell the whole story. It is one thing to see the incredible luster and beautiful design, but you can't fully appreciate a Silver Eagle until you hold it, feel it's weight and texture. I guarantee you will be happy with the condition of your coin!
