Ancient Juniper Trees Artistically inlaid semi-precious stones About This Table This table, like much of their work, is made of Alligator Juniper tree, grown in New Mexico and Arizona. The Juniper is characteristically very twisted and short, receiving little rainfall. The bark gives them their name, being very distinctive and resembling alligator's skin. Andy and Aaron only use dead-standing trees which are over 1000 years old! Inlays of turquoise, marble and other semiprecious stones are used to create their designs and to preserve the natural features of the wood. The character of the wood itself determines the usage. by leaving rough edges and using stumps for table bases, they preserve the rustic beauty of the tree. Because of the age and character of the wood, the grain is highly figured. The oil and wax finish painstakingly applied gives each piece a smooth elegance. This Table is 7 feet by 42 inches and is 30 inches high. No two of Andy's pieces are, or could be, alike which helps explain why Andy Sanchez pieces are so highly prized by their customers. This piece is truly stunningly beautiful and will last for generations to come. I have listed it with a best offer option because Andy does allow some room for negotiation, but please only make serious offers. Domestic Shipping will be 11 percent of the purchase price.
