» Processors
For basic computer use, such as many business needs like word processing, accounting software, & web surfing, we recommend a low cost processor with a more than sufficient speed such as a 2.0 GHz or lower. If you are a gamer, graphics designer, or if you tend to run many programs at one time, we recommend at least a 2.8 GHz to render your graphics smoothly and run your applications smoothly.
» Motherboards
For Business and/or basic usage, we recommend a low cost, but reliable motherboard such as our ECS and AsRock line of motherboards. These will be more than sufficient for basic usage and occasional gaming. However, if you use the computer mainly for gaming and graphics design, we recommend a brand name
motherboard such as an ASUS or an Intel Motherboard to power your machine, considering these motherboards come equipped with powerful chipsets and features to get the intense performance you need.
» Cases & Power Supplies
Again, for those of you in need of a basic
business computer, the Zuke Black Empirial Case will be more than
sufficient. For looks and performance, our Stealth
Black/Silver case is right for you. For extreme performance,
we recommend a case built for cooling, such as our ZMAX and
Cobra cases. As far as power supply is concerned,
we recommend at least a 400 Watt Power supply if the system will be used
for gaming, graphic design, or any other applications in need of

» Memory
256MB of DDR Memory is more than enough
for a basic computer system or a business workstation. However, if
you are a gamer, a high performance user, or you plan on burning DVD's,
512MB of memory is recommended. The harder you work your
computer, the more memory we recommend to increase the speed of your
system.
» Hard Drives
Download a lot of music, pictures, and
videos? We recommend 80GB or higher to fulfill your
needs. 40GB is more than enough for a basic computer
system. Need insanely fast access to your
files? In this case, we recommend a Serial ATA High
Performance Hard Drive for quicker access time.
» CD & 1.44" Drives
Like to burn your own music CD's? A
CDRW Drive will do just that, as well as read CD's. If you
wish to watch movies on your computer, a DVD-ROM Drive is what you
need. And if you would like to burn your own movies and watch them
on any DVD Player, we recommend a DVDRW Drive. A DVDRW drive will
also burn normal music CD's and also play DVD's on your
computer!
» Video & Sound
For business and basic usage, an
integrated video card is more than enough. Otherwise, if you play
games, we recommend either a GeForce or Radeon Graphics card.
For basic gaming, we recommend a GeForce FX 5200 Series or Radeon SE
Series card. If you are an intense gamer, we recommend a 5600
or even a 5900 series card. The more memory the card contains,
the faster the performance. For sound, if you wish to use a
surround sound speaker set or plug your sound card into your home audio
receiver, we recommend a Soundblaster sound card for loud, crisp
performance.
» Networking
All Zuke Systems are equipped with a
network card for high speed internet or simple file sharing.
Wireless network cards are recommended if you are on a wireless network
already, or you wish to upgrade your network to a wireless network.
» Operating System
Windows XP Home edition is great for Home
and Business use. Windows XP Pro has all the features of XP
Home plus more, such as advanced network utilities, remote access, and
other network and business related
utilities.
