This item is part of the Louis xvii Heirloom Christmas Collection. It was created by interior designer Louis Nichole for the FIRST LADY ROSALYNN CARTER as part of the 1980 White House Christmas Tree. It is entirely handcrafted. These dolls are in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, Boston Children's Museum, Indianapolis Children's Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and Queen Elizabeth's Collection. The are also displayed at the Jimmy Carter Museum. The doll is #42, signed and dated. It comes with a letter of authenticity.
