This is the most amazing find I have dug up for all you collectors and Ebayers alike. I have been sitting on this for about 6 YEARS waiting for the copyright to expire. It is "my belief" that it is now expired. Apparently, copyright was September 1986 it has now been 20 years and I do not believe Mattel has renewed for many different reasons. The only reason for waiting out the copyright is to allow the buyer to possibly have the right to actually PRODUCE THE MOVIE, PRODUCE AND SELL THE BEARS, Etc.

I own this collection LEGALLY!

Just imagine offering a limited edition Teddy Roosevelt Teddy Bear already tied to Mattel! You could even create a book, cartoon or childrens MOVIE!

All materials shown will be included. All items, articles, paperwork and Bears will be included in the sale. NO RIGHTS OR PROPERTY WILL BE RETAINED! WINNING BIDDER TAKE ALL!!

YOU ARE BIDDING ON AND WILL RECEIVE ALLTHE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

7. Any and all property in my possession relating to this item or auction there of.

The Facts:

Teddy Roosevelt a well respected bear hunter refused to shoot a young helpless bear cub offered to him to shoot for publicity durring a hunting trip. The "press" then took advantage of his refusal as depicted in the "Drawing the Line in Mississippi" publication shown.

A Russian Immigrant candy store owner and his wife who had interest in making stuffed animals for sale in their stoer contacted Teddy Roosevelt and asked his permission to use his name for their "Teddy Bear." He laughingly gave his permission freely saying "I don't think my name will do much for the toy bear business but your welcome to use it.They then out of gratitude and according to history sent him the first bear made.

The Story:

The story line is a tale of the President giving the Bear to his Neice. The story line is complete with characters and in screenplay form. The child loses the Bear along with both her parents in a tragic accident and the story surrounding Teddy Roosevelt, his surviving Neice and the search for Teddy Bear which actually turns into a treasure hunt due to the reward offered by the President!

The "Script" is 127 pages and in Screenplay format.

THIS IS AN AWSOME ONE OF A KIND COLLECTION DIRECTLY FROM THE ARTISTS WRITTERS AND CONCEPTUAL PRODUCERS IN CO-ORDINATION WITH AND FUNDED BY MATTEL, Inc.

DO NOT MISS THIS!!! THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND ITEM! UNLESS THIS COLLECTION IS PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED IT WILL NEVER BE SEEN SINCE THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER AND NEW OWNER WILL HAVE THE ONLY KNOWN EXISTING MATERIALS ALONG WITH THE ACTUAL ARTIST PROTOTYPES COMMISSIONED BY MATTEL, INC!
