The Entire watch is Signed - it is 100% authentic.
Retails for $17,100.
This watch comes with a 1 Year Mechanical warranty.  This warranty does not cover accidents or abuse, batteries, the strap, or the buckle.  The warranty is void if the crystal is broken, balance staff is broken or if the watch has any signs of water damage.

YEAR: 1984.  This is the New Style Case w/ NO HOLES!

DIAL: Original Champagne dial is in Near Mint condition.

CASE: 18K Solid Gold case is in Near MINT condition. ROLEX screw down crown.  Protective sticker is attached on back.  Reference number 68278 between the top lugs,  and Serial 8,518,xxx between the bottom lugs.

MOVEMENT: 29 jewel automatic movement, Cal 2135, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature.

WATCH SIZE: MEN'S - MIDSIZE - 31 mm diameter (not including the crown).

STRAP/BAND: 18K Solid Gold PRESIDENT band is in Near Mint Condition. The Largest wrist size this watch will fit is 6 and 1/4 inches.

RUNNING CONDITION: This watch was tested on an Automatic winder and it is keeping excellent time.

CRYSTAL: Sapphire Crystal is in Near MINT Condition.

BOX/PAPERS: This watch comes with a Philwatch 1 Year Warranty Certificate!

It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect ALL items upon receipt and test the functions of that item to verify it is as described.

  • If you are not satisfied, please contact us and give us the chance to address any issues. Work done by outside parties voids our warranty.

3-day return policy.

  • Starting with the day you receive the item you have 3 business days to contact us if you are not satisfied to obtain a full refund of your purchase price (all transportation costs are NON-refundable). Customers must contact us by phone within the 3-day period with an explanation of why they wish to return the item to be eligible for the refund.

Items returned after 3 business days but before 10 business days:

  • Are subject to a 10% restocking fee or you can return the item for a company Credit for the full purchase price. These credits never expire and can be applied to any of the merchandise we are currently selling.

Returns must be in their original condition

  • No new scratches, chips, or marks. Bracelet/strap and amount of links must be the same.

Descriptions disclose ALL THAT WE KNOW about our watches - please READ carefully.

  • Returns will NOT be accepted if the reason was disclosed to you in our description of the watch.  This includes but is not limited to misinterpretation of the WATCH SIZE - please read our sizing FAQ.

Buyers are responsible for ALL transportation costs, including customs, shipping, duties.

  • Most of the watches we sell are pre-owned, often of vintage age.
    If you receive an item from us that is broken or not as described it is imperative that you contact us prior to having ANY work done to the item.  We will NOT reimburse any fees incurred for repairs to a watch without the customer first obtaining consent from Philwatch to have the item repaired outside our company.

    Any repairs that a watch needs will be completed by our designated Watchmakers and then returned to the customer, unless we specify otherwise.  Having Repairs done outside of Philwatch without our consent will result in the sale being considered final and the return policy will be void.

  • We never guarantee that any of the watches we sell are waterproof or water resistant
    unless the watch is "Brand New" and manufactured to be as such.  Since we primarily sell pre-owned wristwatches we have no way to be certain whether the watch has retained the original waterproofing or resistance it may have had when new.

  • All of the watches we sell are tested for 24 hours prior to being listed on eBay
    and have their running condition described in the auction text.  Any watch that is not listed as "Brand New" or "Overhauled" may need to be serviced in the future due to normal wear and the age of the item.  Philwatch will NOT be held responsible for this type of service.

  • Quartz watches
    Buyers are responsible for acquiring any new batteries that may be needed.
