For an aspiring stamp dealer or an ambitious collector. Weight = 150 lbs.: 5 large boxes. Where do we begin to describe these massive holdings: 1. The U.S. # 1 with other US rarities 2. The British #s 1, 3 & 4 (in a little, black GB sales book that alone catalogs over $7000). 3. The U.S. Frontier Legends error. 4. The Bugs Bunny imperforate pane error. 5. The entire British commonwealth Coronation Omnibus of George VI MNH. 6. The entire British commonwealth ITU Omnibus. 7. The complete set of U.S. Prexies MNH (w/o coils) are a few of the highlights from this lot. 8. There are 11 "A" to "Z" dealer books, 9. There are 19 "country specific" books: Belgium, France, Great Britain, Canada, United States, Canal Zone, Luxembourg, China (PRC), Germany, New Zealand, United Nations, Philippines, South Africa, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Mexico, and two British Commonwealth. Because there are more "country specific" dealer books available in this estate, if you wish to substitute for other countries (of equal value), we will be more than happy to work with you to obtain the countries that you want. 10. There are 7 red 14 inch #102 boxes which range from "A" to "Z", and two US stock boxes (used) ranging from #s 210-J74. 11. There are also 4 books of world-wide souvenir sheets including one for oversize s/s. 12. There are 9 boxes of glassines that contain roughly 50,000 stamps which @ the Scott minimum of 20¢ each have a total value of $15,000. The glassines are organized 3 different ways: 1) sorted by number and country in varying quantities; 2) mixtures by country; and 3) worldwide unsorted lots. 13. There are two 8" deep x 12" height x 12" width green canisters of world-wide, mail-out approval sheets organized in manila file folders country by country, "A" to "Z". 14. There are sheets, old commercial mixture packets and even APS circuit books. This is a sort of "going-out-of-business sale" (but in actual truth it is an estate liquidation) and the opening bid represents about 5 - 6% of the catalog value. Again we will work with you to obtain the country specific books that you may wish to obtain by swapping books for others of equal value or by wholesaling whatever you need. We will be offering more of this liquidation through ebay in the near future. Special provisions to save you money: 1) The green aluminum cannisters that contain the mail approval sheets epresent about 3 lbs. of unnecessary weight but they will be shipped unless you contact us in advance. If you don't want them, it will reduce your mailing cost and you will be credited appropriately. 2) The separator cards that identify the countries by group within the 7 boxes of #102 envelops are not part of this offering. Separator cards will be included and inserted in the proper spot, but they will be blank and they will not be labeled. The separator cards seen in the photograps belong to Aardvark Stamps. We use them in this collection to visually assist you as you examine the lot, but we do wish to keep them. They represent some time and effort on our part, and perhaps a little sentimental value too. Important Please note: This is an estate liquidation and Aardvark Stamps is acting merely as the agent of the sale, therefore all usual and normal Aardvark warranties are not applicable and this sale is final. Further, Aardvark Stamps does not stand behind the identification and placement of the stamps within the sales books and envelops: that was the work of the previous, late owner, and while we did attempt to remove any suspect, fraudulant stamps, we must admit that we are not stamp expertizers and we cannot warrenty this offering against the occurance of all fakes, reprints, forgeries, etc. Please be advised there is a flat rate $60.00 shipping and handling fee in addition to the postal service world-wide rate on this item.
