Flexible and affordable membership for auction, which allows the owner access to a large number of world class resorts all over the world. The membership uses credits in place of money for payment of the accommodation. I am the current owner. Membership is perpetual, meaning that you can pass it on to your heirs.

Booking into the resorts is really simple and you can choose apartment sizes of your choice by calling reservations with the dates and location required. Your credits are then used as payment.

The new owner will take over the existing vacation credit points. The account currently has a balance of 16,000 credits and receives 8,000 credits annually in June. These credits are kept in the 'bank' for 2 years, so if you don't take a holiday one year, it is fine. Credits can also be borrowed from the year ahead if required.

Trendwest's network includes 70 resorts with the number growing all the time - all of them are available to all owners.There are also over 1800 resorts over the rest of the world in prime locations that you have can have access to via Worldmark's connections with Interval International and Resort Condominium International (there are joining fees if you wish to join either of these separately). That pretty much covers most places in the world. It makes luxurious vacations affordable.

There are no length of stay limitations. Stay one night, one week, or one month.

Choose how many bedrooms you need. If you bring the whole family you can have a bigger suite.

Vacation when you can. Trendwest allows you to travel any time of the year - you are not locked into a specific week.

I encourage and welcome youto research as much as you wish beforehand about the costs you would pay if buying the timeshare direct from the company, so you can see what a saving you are making. Take advantage of me needing to sell!!

WHAT YOU GET:

• You get the owner number which identifies you as owner when membership is transferred to you.
• There are 16,000 holiday credits at present and these can be used at any time. Anniversary month is June each year, and you get 8,000 credits each year on 1st June. The credits are valid for 2 years with Worldmark (ie. 2005 credits would expire on June 30th 2007). They can be used to book awesome vacations whenever you want.
• Use the credits to get classy accommodation for business trips, holidays, to take your family, for romantic spontaneous breaks etc... without having to save money to pay for them! They will be paid for with the credits!

HOW DO THE CREDITS WORK?

WHAT COSTS ARE THERE?

1. The winning bid amount, payable to me by Paypal or Direct Debit WITHIN 14 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. If you are within Australia I prefer Direct Debit. If you are outside Australia I prefer Paypal.
2. $200 once-only transfer fee, payable to Worldmark once you have received the paperwork to confirm you are the new owner. Buyer pays this fee when the paperwork is transferred. I undertake to pay the postage on any of the paperwork to be sent to you to be completed. You would need to pay postage on any paperwork you send to Trendwest/Worldmark.
3. Ongoing levy to Worldmark for resort upkeep and maintenance. This is $475 per year and payable annually or quarterly (your choice). This has been paid up to date for the year and is next due January 2006.
4. Balance of the ownership cost which is $5719.57. The origianl cost of the timeshare to me was $9,800. I have paid this down to the remaining $5719.57 and the payments on this are monthly $184.23 to Worldmark. These payments are currently up to date and the next monthly payment date due is 5th October 2005. If I am owner at this time I pay it, it you are owner then you pay it.

There are no further hidden fees or closing costs to you as buyer.

You are welcome to use an escrow service if you wish, at your won cost.

If full payment of the winning bid amount is not received by me within 14 days after auction closes, I reserve the right to relist the auction to sell to someone else.

WHERE ARE THE VACATIONS?

Reservations can be made up to 13 months in advance.

WHY AM I SELLING?

It is to my great regret that I have not been able to take advantage of these vacations due to family reasons. My situation means that I will not be able to use the vacations for the next couple of years, and it is more practical for me to sell.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER:

1. After auction closes, the winning bidder should pay the money by Paypal (if outside Australia), or by Direct Deposit or Paypal (if within Australia).
2. When I have received the money, I wil notify Trendwest/Worldmark of the change in owner and the paperwork will be filled out to transfer all ownership to you. The Transfer Department at Trendwest/Worldmark states the sale or transfer process is simple and straightforward.
3. I then send the completed paperwork to you for you to complete your part, in order to confirm you are the new owner. You then send that back to Worldmark with the $200(Australian dollars) transfer fee. This is a once only fee, buyer pays.
4. Worldmark then transfers ownership to your name.
5. Then you go on happy holidays and smile over what a good deal you got!

The winning bider will have to provide full name and address for deed of transfer.

WHAT IS TRENDWEST/WORLDMARK?

Trendwest is the developer, marketer and manager of Worldmark properties. The company purchases and develops vacation properties and transfers them debt-free to Worldmark, which is a non-profit mutual benefit entity that owns, operates and maintains the resorts. This information comes from the Trendwest website.

If you go to the website you can see the online directory and virtual tours to see the high quality of the resorts. the resorts are located in prime vacation destinations and allow for participation in many leisure activities.

Worldmark is a pure credit point-based resort system that allows you to vacation where, when and how long you want. In contrast, a typical timeshare programme requires you to purchase a specific unit in a specific resort for a specific period each year. Whe the Worldmark credits however, you can use your vactaion credits at any of the properties in the Worldmark network. You can travel at any time of the year so you are not locked into a specific week. Awesome!
